1. **Post here in the AI-helper category.** Tell us what shape you want, what 2–4 input parameters would describe it (e.g. for a Greek column: diameter, height, number of flutes, flute depth), and roughly what the cross-section looks like. If it's mathematically defined we can usually add a recipe in 30 minutes.
2. **Skip the wait** and draw it yourself in Inkscape / your favourite CAD, then upload via 📤 Publish or shape_upload.php. Anyone can use it from the gallery afterwards.
Good candidates for recipes:
- Spirals + scrolls (architectural)
- Letter shapes (one per letter would be a lot of recipes — better to add a font-rendering generator)
- Fish/wing/bird silhouettes
- NACA 5-digit, NACA 6-series, Clark Y, Selig SD7037 (more aerofoil families)
- Greek/Roman columns with proper fluting
- Boat hull cross-sections
If a request gets ≥3 upvotes / replies in the helpdesk, it jumps the queue.
