ESP32 + FluidNC is the current go-to and what cncfoam.com targets natively. Specifically:
- **Bart Dring 6-Pack Pro** — best ergonomics, USB-C, screw terminals, fits TMC2209 drivers, good silkscreen labelling.
- **Elecrow Corgi** — cheaper, same chip, fewer niceties.
- **PiBot V4.96** — older option, still works.
