What feedrate should I put in the G-code?

Feedrate is tied to wire heat — they must balance. There is no universal number; it depends on foam density, wire temperature and gauge. A practical starting window for EPS is roughly 5–25 mm/s, slower for dense XPS, faster for light packaging foam. Too fast for the heat = the wire drags, bows and tears; too slow = a wide, melted, droopy kerf.

Set a feedrate in https://cncfoam.com (or per-material default), cut a test, and adjust heat and feed together until the wire glides through leaving a crisp edge. Note that https://cncfoam.com applies your chosen feedrate at load time and uses it for every move — there is no separate rapid — so the number you set is the speed the wire actually travels.
