Open the tool, click + Teile laden, and pick your file as Profile A (SVG, DXF, or G-code). The tool samples the outline into a cut path and drops it into the workspace, where you can scale, position and preview it. For a constant cross-section, that single profile is repeated on both ends; for a morph, load a second profile as Profile B.
Messy exports are the usual snag — DXF and Inkscape SVGs often carry stray nodes or invalid symbol IDs that crash parsers. Run them through the built-in SVG-Cleaner (also at SVG-Cleaner?) first, and make outlines single closed paths. Once loaded, the live preview shows exactly what the wire will trace.
